1. ABOUT THIS POLICY
1.1 This AI & Automated Interpretation Policy explains how Astralway uses artificial intelligence (“AI”), automated calculations and other technology to provide personalised astrological, reflective and related content.

1.3 This Policy is intended to help users understand:
(a) where AI and automation are used;
(b) the information used to generate personalised content;
(c) what AI-generated content can and cannot do;
(d) the limitations of automated interpretation;
(e) how users should use Astralway content;
(f) how personal information may be involved;
(g) the role of third-party technology providers; and
(h) the safeguards applied to AI and automated processing.

2. ASTRALWAY
2.1 Astralway is an astrology and self-reflection platform.
2.2 It brings together multiple systems and traditions, including:
(a) Western astrology;
(b) Vedic astrology;
(c) Chinese astrology;
(d) Mayan systems; and
(e) 13 Moon / Natural Time frameworks.
2.3 Astralway uses technology to combine calculations, structured interpretive material and AI-powered functionality to create personalised experiences.
2.4 AI is a tool used within Astralway. It is not presented as a conscious being, human astrologer or infallible source of knowledge.

3. WHAT WE MEAN BY AI
3.1 In this Policy, “AI” refers broadly to artificial-intelligence technologies used to generate, organise, interpret or present content.
3.2 AI may include large language models and related systems supplied by third-party technology providers.
3.3 Not every automated feature within Astralway necessarily uses generative AI.
3.4 Some features may instead rely upon:
(a) mathematical calculations;
(b) astronomical or astrological calculations;
(c) structured rules;
(d) databases;
(e) predefined interpretive frameworks;
(f) software logic; or
(g) combinations of these technologies.

4. HOW ASTRALWAY USES AI
4.1 AI may be used within Astralway to support functionality including:
(a) Ask Astralway;
(b) personalised interpretations;
(c) explanations of chart information;
(d) forecasts;
(e) focused reports;
(f) relationship or compatibility interpretation;
(g) suggested questions;
(h) reflective prompts;
(i) journal-related support where applicable; and
(j) other personalised features introduced from time to time.
4.2 The precise role of AI may differ between features.

5. AUTOMATED CALCULATIONS
5.1 Astralway may use automated calculations to determine chart positions, cycles, dates, relationships between chart elements and other structured information.
5.2 These calculations are different from generative AI interpretation.
5.3 A feature may therefore involve more than one stage, for example:
(a) calculation of chart or timing information;
(b) selection of relevant structured information; and
(c) AI-assisted generation of an explanation or interpretation.

6. PERSONALISED INPUTS
6.1 Depending upon the feature, Astralway may use information including:
(a) date of birth;
(b) time of birth;
(c) place of birth;
(d) chart information;
(e) calculated astrological information;
(f) questions submitted by you;
(g) information you provide during an AI conversation;
(h) relationship or compatibility information;
(i) saved charts;
(j) relevant timing information; and
(k) other information you choose to provide.
6.2 Different features may use different combinations of information.

7. ACCURACY OF INPUT INFORMATION
7.1 Personalised output depends partly upon the accuracy of information supplied to Astralway.
7.2 You should therefore check information such as:
(a) date of birth;
(b) time of birth;
(c) place of birth; and
(d) the person or chart selected.
7.3 An incorrect birth time, date, location or other input may materially affect an interpretation.
7.4 Astralway cannot guarantee the accuracy of information supplied by users.

8. NATURE OF ASTROLOGICAL INTERPRETATION
8.1 Astrology is interpretive in nature.
8.2 Different traditions, systems, astrologers and interpretive approaches may produce different perspectives.
8.3 Astralway is specifically designed to bring together multiple traditions rather than representing one system as the only valid interpretive framework.
8.4 Differences between an Astralway interpretation and another astrologer's interpretation do not necessarily mean that either is technically defective.

9. AI OUTPUT IS GENERATIVE
9.1 Generative AI produces content dynamically.
9.2 This means that AI-generated responses may vary even where similar questions are asked.
9.3 AI-generated content may sometimes:
(a) be inaccurate;
(b) be incomplete;
(c) misunderstand a question;
(d) give undue weight to particular information;
(e) omit relevant context;
(f) contain inconsistencies;
(g) make an inappropriate inference; or
(h) generate information that sounds confident despite being incorrect.
9.4 Users should therefore apply their own judgment when using AI-generated content.

10. NO GUARANTEE OF ACCURACY
10.1 Astralway takes reasonable steps to design and maintain its services responsibly.
10.2 However, Astralway does not guarantee that every:
(a) interpretation;
(b) AI response;
(c) forecast;
(d) report;
(e) relationship analysis;
(f) suggested question; or
(g) other generated output,
will be complete, error-free or personally meaningful.
10.3 This does not affect statutory rights concerning paid digital content or services.

11. NO GUARANTEED PREDICTIONS
11.1 Astralway does not guarantee that a particular future event will occur.
11.2 Forecasts and timing interpretations describe astrological or related patterns and themes rather than certainties.
11.3 Statements concerning future possibilities should be understood as interpretive information, not guaranteed predictions.
11.4 Astralway should not be used on the assumption that it can determine the future with certainty.

12. YOUR OWN DECISIONS
12.1 Astralway is intended to support exploration, reflection and understanding.
12.2 You remain responsible for your own decisions.
12.3 You should not make a major decision solely because an Astralway output tells you that a particular outcome is likely, unlikely, favourable or unfavourable.
12.4 Relevant real-world circumstances and appropriate professional advice should be considered where necessary.

13. NO MEDICAL ADVICE
13.1 Astralway does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment or individual medical advice.
13.2 AI or astrological content should not be used to:
(a) diagnose a medical condition;
(b) determine whether symptoms require medical attention;
(c) start or stop medication;
(d) replace medical treatment;
(e) determine whether emergency care is required; or
(f) replace advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
13.3 If you have concerns about your health, seek appropriate professional medical advice.

14. NO MENTAL HEALTH DIAGNOSIS
14.1 Astralway does not diagnose mental-health conditions.
14.2 AI-generated interpretation should not be treated as a psychological or psychiatric assessment.
14.3 References to emotions, tendencies, patterns or personality within an astrological interpretation are interpretive and are not clinical diagnoses.

15. NO LEGAL ADVICE
15.1 Astralway does not provide legal advice.
15.2 You should not rely upon an AI or astrological interpretation to determine your legal rights, obligations or legal strategy.
15.3 Appropriate professional advice should be obtained where necessary.

16. NO FINANCIAL OR INVESTMENT ADVICE
16.1 Astralway does not provide regulated financial, investment, tax or trading advice.
16.2 Content concerning:
(a) money;
(b) opportunity;
(c) career;
(d) business;
(e) financial cycles; or
(f) timing,
is astrological or reflective content and should not be treated as a recommendation to buy, sell or hold an investment or undertake a particular financial transaction.

17. RELATIONSHIPS
17.1 Relationship and compatibility features are intended for reflection and exploration.
17.2 They cannot establish as fact:
(a) what another person is thinking;
(b) what another person is feeling;
(c) whether another person is faithful;
(d) another person's intentions;
(e) whether a relationship will succeed;
(f) whether a person will return to a relationship; or
(g) what another person will do in the future.
17.3 AI-generated statements about another person's likely tendencies should therefore be understood as interpretive rather than factual claims about that individual.

18. CAREER AND PURPOSE
18.1 Astralway may provide content concerning career, purpose, direction and opportunity.
18.2 Such content is intended to support reflection rather than determine what career, employment or business decision you should make.
18.3 Users should consider their own:
(a) circumstances;
(b) qualifications;
(c) experience;
(d) finances;
(e) responsibilities;
(f) opportunities; and
(g) professional advice where appropriate.

19. JOURNAL FUNCTIONALITY
19.1 Astralway may provide private journal or reflective functionality.
19.2 You control what you choose to write.
19.3 Journal entries may contain highly personal information.
19.4 You should avoid including information that is unnecessary for your use of the feature.
19.5 Where journal information is used by an AI feature, this should occur only in accordance with the functionality made available to you and the Astralway Privacy Policy.

20. SENSITIVE INFORMATION
20.1 AI conversations and journal features may allow free-text input.
20.2 You should therefore consider carefully before providing highly sensitive information.
20.3 This may include information concerning:
(a) physical health;
(b) mental health;
(c) racial or ethnic origin;
(d) religious or philosophical beliefs;
(e) sexual orientation;
(f) sex life;
(g) intimate relationships;
(h) financial difficulties;
(i) another person's private information; or
(j) other highly personal circumstances.
20.4 Astralway does not require you to provide unnecessary sensitive information simply to ask an ordinary astrological question.

21. THIRD-PARTY INFORMATION
21.1 Certain features may allow you to enter information relating to another person.
21.2 This may include information required for:
(a) relationship analysis;
(b) compatibility;
(c) saved charts; or
(d) other multi-person features.
21.3 You should only provide another person's personal information where you have an appropriate right or permission to do so.
21.4 You should not enter unnecessary private or sensitive information about another person into an AI conversation.

22. THIRD-PARTY CHARTS
22.1 Where you create or save a chart for another person, Astralway may process information such as:
(a) name or identifier;
(b) date of birth;
(c) time of birth; and
(d) place of birth.
22.2 This information should only be used for legitimate chart or related functionality.
22.3 Astralway does not treat the existence of another person's chart within your Account as permission to use that person independently for marketing.

23. PRIVACY
23.1 Personal data used in connection with AI and automated features is handled in accordance with the Astralway Privacy Policy.
23.2 The Privacy Policy explains matters including:
(a) what personal data is collected;
(b) why it is used;
(c) lawful bases;
(d) data sharing;
(e) processors;
(f) international transfers;
(g) retention;
(h) security;
(i) individual rights; and
(j) Account deletion.
23.3 This AI Policy supplements rather than replaces the Privacy Policy.

24. AI PROVIDERS
24.1 Astralway uses Google Gemini to generate interpretations, forecasts, reports and chat replies.
24.2 Chart positions are calculated on our own systems. Gemini is used for the written interpretation and conversation.
24.3 For each reading or chat reply we send Google what that feature needs, which may include:
(a) birth details;
(b) calculated chart factors;
(c) questionnaire answers you have chosen to share with readings;
(d) earlier messages in that conversation; and
(e) the text you type.
24.4 Google processes that information on its systems, which may be outside the United Kingdom. What is sent, and why, is also set out in section 8 of the Privacy Policy.

25. MODEL TRAINING
25.1 We do not state that information sent to Google Gemini is excluded from Google's model training.
25.2 If that position is confirmed with Google and we rely on it, we will update this Policy and the Privacy Policy before doing so.
25.3 Until then, treat anything you type into a reading, report or chat — and the birth and chart information needed to generate it — as information that leaves Astralway and is processed by Google.

26. HUMAN INVOLVEMENT
26.1 Astralway is designed primarily as a technology-enabled self-service platform.
26.2 Users should not assume that a human astrologer reviews every:
(a) AI conversation;
(b) interpretation;
(c) forecast;
(d) chart;
(e) journal entry; or
(f) report.
26.3 Unless a feature expressly states otherwise, generated content may be produced without individual human review before it is shown to you.
26.4 The absence of human review does not mean that Company personnel have unrestricted access to private user content.

27. AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING
27.1 Astralway uses automated processing to calculate and generate personalised content.
27.2 Astralway is not currently designed to use your astrological profile or AI interactions to make decisions determining matters such as:
(a) whether you receive employment;
(b) whether you receive credit;
(c) whether you obtain insurance;
(d) eligibility for healthcare;
(e) access to essential services;
(f) your legal rights; or
(g) comparable decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
27.3 Astralway's automated interpretations and forecasts are intended to provide content to you rather than make legally or similarly significant decisions about you.
27.4 If Astralway introduces functionality that materially changes this position, the Company will reassess the processing and applicable safeguards.

28. PROFILING
28.1 Some personalised Astralway processing may amount to profiling for data-protection purposes where automated processing uses personal data to evaluate or predict aspects concerning an individual.
28.2 The fact that processing constitutes profiling does not itself mean that Astralway is making a legally or similarly significant decision about you.
28.3 Where profiling occurs, it remains subject to applicable Data Protection Law.

29. SIGNIFICANT AUTOMATED DECISIONS
29.1 If Astralway were in future to use solely automated processing to make a decision producing a legal or similarly significant effect on an individual, the Company would assess the additional requirements applying to that processing before implementing it.
29.2 Where required, appropriate safeguards may include:
(a) providing information about the decision;
(b) allowing the individual to make representations;
(c) enabling human intervention; and
(d) enabling the individual to contest the decision.
29.3 Astralway does not currently intend its astrological or AI interpretations themselves to operate as such decisions.

30. SPECIAL CATEGORY DATA AND AUTOMATION
30.1 Additional legal restrictions may apply where special category personal data is used in significant solely automated decision-making.
30.2 Astralway does not intentionally use sensitive personal information supplied through journals or AI conversations to make legal or similarly significant decisions about users.

31. PERSONALISATION
31.1 Astralway is designed to provide personalised rather than generic content.
31.2 Personalisation may involve combining information such as:
(a) chart data;
(b) timing information;
(c) selected astrology systems;
(d) questions;
(e) previous context where the relevant feature supports it; and
(f) other information relevant to the feature.
31.3 Personalisation does not mean that Astralway has complete knowledge of your circumstances.

32. MEMORY AND CONVERSATION CONTEXT
32.1 Some AI features may use information from the current conversation or other information associated with the relevant feature to provide more contextual responses.
32.2 The extent of any longer-term conversation history or contextual functionality must correspond with the actual Astralway implementation.
32.3 Users should not assume that the AI permanently remembers everything they have ever entered.
32.4 Relevant retention arrangements are explained in the Privacy Policy.

33. GENERATED REPORTS
33.1 Paid or free reports may use automation and AI to produce personalised content.
33.2 The report may combine:
(a) calculated data;
(b) structured astrological information;
(c) predefined interpretive frameworks; and
(d) AI-generated or AI-assisted explanation.
33.3 A generated report should be understood as a personalised interpretive product rather than an objectively certain statement about future events.

34. FORECASTS
34.1 Forecasts may identify periods, themes, cycles or potential areas of emphasis.
34.2 A forecast does not mean that a specific event must occur.
34.3 Individual circumstances, decisions and events outside the scope of Astralway can affect real-world outcomes.

35. CROSS-TRADITION INTERPRETATION
35.1 Astralway may draw upon multiple astrological or calendar traditions.
35.2 These systems have different histories, concepts, calculations and interpretive frameworks.
35.3 Astralway may identify:
(a) similarities;
(b) contrasts;
(c) recurring themes;
(d) complementary perspectives; or
(e) tensions between different systems.
35.4 The combination of traditions should not be understood as a claim that they historically formed one unified system.

36. USER QUESTIONS
36.1 The quality and relevance of an AI response may depend partly upon the question asked.
36.2 Users may obtain more useful responses by providing relevant context without unnecessarily disclosing sensitive information.
36.3 Suggested questions are intended to assist exploration and do not restrict what a user may ask, subject to applicable service rules.

37. INAPPROPRIATE OR UNSAFE REQUESTS
37.1 Astralway may restrict, redirect or decline certain AI requests where appropriate.
37.2 This may include requests involving:
(a) unlawful activity;
(b) serious harm;
(c) exploitation;
(d) abuse;
(e) dangerous instructions;
(f) attempts to obtain another person's confidential information; or
(g) other content that cannot appropriately be provided.
37.3 Technical safety systems may sometimes restrict content automatically.

38. EMERGENCIES AND CRISIS SITUATIONS
38.1 Astralway is not an emergency service.
38.2 Users should not rely upon Astralway AI for emergency assistance.
38.3 Where someone is facing an immediate threat to life, health or safety, appropriate emergency or professional services should be contacted.

39. ERRORS AND FEEDBACK
39.1 If you believe an Astralway output contains a technical or factual error, you may contact:

39.2 Reports of errors may be used to investigate and improve the service where lawful and appropriate.
39.3 Reporting an output does not necessarily mean that the underlying astrological interpretation will be changed merely because another interpretation is possible.

40. TECHNICAL AVAILABILITY
40.1 AI functionality may occasionally be:
(a) unavailable;
(b) delayed;
(c) limited;
(d) affected by provider outages; or
(e) modified because of technical or safety requirements.
40.2 Astralway does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of every AI feature.
40.3 Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

41. CHANGES TO AI MODELS OR PROVIDERS
41.1 Astralway may change:
(a) AI models;
(b) AI providers;
(c) prompts;
(d) technical architecture;
(e) interpretive systems;
(f) safeguards; or
(g) other technology,
where reasonably necessary to operate, maintain or improve the service.
41.2 Material changes affecting personal-data processing will be reflected in relevant privacy information where required.

42. QUALITY CONTROL
42.1 The Company may review AI functionality to identify issues including:
(a) inaccurate outputs;
(b) inappropriate responses;
(c) technical failures;
(d) inconsistent behaviour;
(e) privacy risks;
(f) security risks; and
(g) other quality concerns.
42.2 Quality-control processes should be designed to minimise unnecessary access to identifiable private user content.

43. DATA MINIMISATION
43.1 Astralway aims to use only personal information reasonably necessary for the relevant functionality.
43.2 Users are also encouraged not to provide unnecessary personal information in free-text fields.
43.3 The fact that an AI system can process additional information does not mean that the information is necessary.

44. SECURITY
44.1 Beauty & Wellbeing Education Ltd uses appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information.
44.2 No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.
44.3 Security arrangements are kept under review and are addressed further in the Company's internal Data Security & Information Security Policy.

45. DATA RETENTION
45.1 AI-related personal information is retained in accordance with the Astralway Privacy Policy and the Company's Data Retention & Deletion Policy.
45.2 Different retention periods may apply to:
(a) Account information;
(b) AI conversation history;
(c) journal entries;
(d) reports;
(e) technical logs;
(f) processor records; and
(g) backups.
45.3 Provider-side retention arrangements will depend upon the applicable provider and contractual configuration.

46. ACCOUNT DELETION
46.1 Users may delete their Astralway Account in accordance with the available Account functionality.
46.2 Account deletion will trigger handling of associated personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy and Data Retention & Deletion Policy.
46.3 Some information may need to be retained where required or permitted by law.
46.4 Data may also remain temporarily within secure backups until deleted through the applicable backup cycle.

47. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS
47.1 Depending upon the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information including rights relating to:
(a) access;
(b) rectification;
(c) erasure;
(d) restriction;
(e) portability;
(f) objection; and
(g) relevant automated processing.
47.2 Further information is provided in the Astralway Privacy Policy.

48. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
48.1 AI technology does not change the intellectual-property provisions applying to Astralway.
48.2 Use of Astralway content remains subject to the Astralway Terms & Conditions.
48.3 Users must not assume that AI-generated content can automatically be commercially reproduced, resold or used without restriction.

49. RESPONSIBLE USE
49.1 Users should use Astralway responsibly.
49.2 In particular, users should:
(a) apply their own judgment;
(b) recognise the limitations of AI;
(c) check important factual information independently;
(d) seek professional advice where appropriate;
(e) avoid unnecessary disclosure of sensitive information;
(f) respect the privacy of other people;
(g) avoid treating forecasts as guarantees; and
(h) use the service as a reflective and interpretive tool rather than surrendering personal decision-making to it.

50. MARKETPLACE
50.1 Astralway intends to introduce Marketplace functionality in the future.
50.2 A Marketplace practitioner may provide human astrological services separate from Astralway's automated or AI-generated content.
50.3 Before Marketplace launch, Astralway will clarify:
(a) when a user is interacting with AI;
(b) when a user is interacting with a human practitioner;
(c) what information is shared with the practitioner;
(d) the practitioner's role;
(e) applicable privacy arrangements; and
(f) applicable Marketplace Terms.
50.4 AI-generated content must not be represented as having been personally reviewed by a Marketplace practitioner unless that has actually occurred.

51. AGE REQUIREMENT
51.1 Astralway is intended only for users aged 18 or over.
51.2 Astralway's AI and personalised services are not intended for children.

52. RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER POLICIES
52.1 This Policy should be read alongside:
(a) Astralway Terms & Conditions;
(b) Astralway Privacy Policy;
(c) Astralway Cookie Policy; and
(d) Astralway Refund & Cancellation Policy.
52.2 Where this Policy discusses personal-data processing, the Privacy Policy provides the principal privacy information.
52.3 Where this Policy discusses contractual use of the service, the Terms & Conditions apply.

53. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
53.1 This Policy may be updated where reasonably necessary because of:
(a) changes to AI technology;
(b) changes to Astralway functionality;
(c) changes to AI providers;
(d) changes to applicable law;
(e) regulatory guidance;
(f) new risks or safeguards;
(g) Marketplace launch; or
(h) other material changes to the service.
53.2 The current version will be made available through Astralway.
53.3 The effective or updated date will be shown at the beginning of the Policy.
