1. ABOUT THIS POLICY

1.2 Astralway is operated by:

Company number: 14736945
Registered address:
4th Floor Silverstream House
45 Fitzroy Street

1.3 This Policy should be read alongside the Astralway Terms & Conditions.
1.4 Nothing in this Policy excludes or restricts any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
2. CONTACT
2.1 Questions concerning subscriptions, cancellations, payments or refunds may be sent to:
support@ljwellbeing.co.uk
2.2 Privacy-related enquiries should be sent to:
privacy@ljwellbeing.co.uk
3. ASTRALWAY PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
3.1 Astralway may offer:
(a) free Account access;
(b) paid monthly subscriptions;
(c) individual personalised reports;
(d) other digital content;
(e) AI-powered functionality;
(f) personalised forecasts;
(g) chart and interpretation services; and
(h) additional products or services introduced from time to time.
3.2 Different cancellation and refund rules may apply depending upon what you purchase and whether digital content or services have already been supplied.
4. FREE ACCOUNTS
4.1 No refund is due for use of features provided free of charge.
4.2 You may close your free Astralway Account in accordance with the Account-deletion functionality and Astralway Terms & Conditions.
4.3 Deleting an Account automatically cancels any active Plus subscription so that it does not continue to renew.
4.4 If you only want to stop renewal and keep your Account, cancel Plus from Settings instead of deleting the Account.
5. PAID SUBSCRIPTIONS
5.1 Astralway currently offers a paid subscription priced at £9 per month, unless another price is clearly displayed before purchase.
5.2 The subscription provides access to paid functionality made available as part of the relevant subscription tier.
5.3 Unless stated otherwise before purchase, subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled.
5.4 The applicable price, billing frequency and material subscription information will be displayed before you enter into the subscription.
6. CANCELLING A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION
6.1 You may cancel your monthly Astralway subscription at any time.
6.2 Cancellation stops future subscription renewals.
6.3 Unless a statutory cancellation or refund right applies, cancellation does not normally retrospectively refund subscription charges for periods that have already begun.
6.4 Following ordinary cancellation, you will normally continue to have access to the paid subscription features until the end of the subscription period for which you have already paid.
6.5 You will not normally be charged for a further subscription period after cancellation has taken effect.
7. HOW TO CANCEL
7.1 You may cancel Plus from Settings, under Billing, using the Cancel Plus control. Cancellation stops future renewal and leaves paid access in place until the end of the current billing period.
7.2 You may also contact:
support@ljwellbeing.co.uk
if you require assistance with cancellation.
7.3 The self-service route is Settings → Billing → Cancel Plus. You can also use the Stripe customer portal from the same page.
7.4 Astralway will not deliberately make cancellation materially more difficult than signing up.
8. WHEN CANCELLATION TAKES EFFECT
8.1 For an ordinary monthly subscription cancellation, cancellation will normally take effect for renewal purposes at the end of the current paid billing period.
8.2 This means that if you cancel part-way through a monthly subscription period:
(a) your subscription will not normally renew for another month;
(b) you will normally retain paid access until the end of the current paid period; and
(c) the unused portion of the current paid period will not normally be refunded unless a statutory right, this Policy or another applicable entitlement requires a refund.
9. STATUTORY CANCELLATION RIGHTS
9.1 If you are a consumer purchasing online, you may have statutory cancellation rights.
9.2 Depending upon the type of contract, this may include a right to cancel during a 14-day cancellation period.
9.3 The way this right applies can differ depending upon whether your purchase concerns:
(a) services;
(b) digital content supplied electronically; or
(c) a combination of digital services and digital content.
9.4 Your statutory rights may also be affected where you expressly ask Astralway to begin supplying a service or digital content during the cancellation period.
10. STARTING SERVICES DURING THE CANCELLATION PERIOD
10.1 Astralway is designed to provide access to paid features promptly after purchase.
10.2 Where applicable, you may therefore be asked to expressly request or consent to the relevant service beginning during the statutory cancellation period.
10.3 Where a service begins during the cancellation period at your express request and you subsequently exercise a statutory right to cancel, the consequences will be determined in accordance with applicable consumer law.
10.4 This may include an obligation to pay an appropriate proportion for services already supplied where the legal requirements for doing so have been met.
10.5 Where a service has been fully performed during the cancellation period, the statutory cancellation right may be lost where the applicable legal requirements, including the required request, consent or acknowledgement, have been satisfied.
11. DIGITAL CONTENT SUPPLIED IMMEDIATELY
11.1 Some Astralway purchases may constitute digital content supplied electronically.
11.2 This may include certain personalised reports or other downloadable, viewable or generated digital content.
11.3 Where digital content is to be supplied during the 14-day statutory cancellation period, Astralway will obtain the legally required:
(a) express consent to begin supply during that period; and
(b) acknowledgement concerning the effect that beginning supply has on the right to cancel.
11.4 Where the applicable legal requirements have been satisfied and supply of the digital content has begun, you may lose the statutory right to cancel that digital-content contract.
11.5 This does not affect your statutory rights where digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet applicable legal requirements.
12. PERSONALISED REPORTS
12.1 Astralway offers or may offer individual personalised reports, including reports based upon information you provide.
12.2 Examples may include:
(a) Year Ahead;
(b) Career Crossroads;
(c) Relationship Season;
(d) Money & Opportunity;
(e) Purpose & Direction;
(f) Personal Year / Birthday; and
(g) other focused reports introduced from time to time.
12.3 The price of each report will be displayed before purchase.
12.4 Current reports may be priced at approximately £12 each, but the price shown at checkout at the time of purchase is the applicable price.
13. GENERATION OF PERSONALISED REPORTS
13.1 A personalised report may begin to be generated shortly after you place your order.
13.2 Where the report constitutes digital content supplied during the statutory cancellation period, Astralway will seek the consent and acknowledgement required by applicable law before beginning supply.
13.3 Once the required consent and acknowledgement have been provided and supply of the digital content has begun, the statutory right to change your mind may be lost.
13.4 Astralway will not rely merely upon the fact that a report is personalised to remove a statutory cancellation right where the applicable legal requirements have not otherwise been satisfied.
14. CHANGE OF MIND AFTER A REPORT HAS BEEN SUPPLIED
14.1 Where:
(a) you expressly consented to immediate supply of digital content;
(b) you acknowledged the applicable effect on your cancellation right; and
(c) the digital content has been supplied,
Astralway will not normally provide a refund simply because you:
(i) changed your mind;
(ii) no longer want the report;
(iii) disagree with an astrological interpretation;
(iv) did not find the interpretation personally resonant; or
(v) expected a different astrological interpretation.
14.2 This does not affect statutory remedies where the digital content itself does not conform to the contract.
15. ASTROLOGICAL INTERPRETATION IS SUBJECTIVE
15.1 Astralway provides astrological, interpretive, reflective and educational content.
15.2 Different astrologers, systems and interpretive methods may reach different interpretations.
15.3 Disagreement with an interpretation does not, by itself, establish that digital content is defective.
15.4 This section does not remove any statutory rights concerning the quality, description or functionality of digital content.
16. AI-GENERATED AND AI-ASSISTED CONTENT
16.1 Some Astralway content may be generated or assisted using artificial intelligence.
16.2 AI-generated outputs may vary and are not guaranteed to:
(a) predict future events;
(b) produce a particular outcome;
(c) agree with another astrologer's interpretation;
(d) answer every question in a particular way; or
(e) produce identical wording if a request is repeated.
16.3 The interpretive or variable nature of AI-generated content does not remove statutory consumer rights where applicable.
17. FAULTY DIGITAL CONTENT
17.1 Your statutory rights remain applicable where digital content does not meet applicable legal standards.
17.2 Depending upon the circumstances, statutory remedies may apply where digital content is:
(a) not of satisfactory quality where that requirement applies;
(b) not fit for a particular purpose where applicable;
(c) not as described; or
(d) otherwise not supplied in conformity with the contract.
17.3 The appropriate remedy depends upon the circumstances and applicable consumer law.
18. TECHNICAL PROBLEMS
18.1 If you purchase content but cannot access it because of a technical problem, please contact:
support@ljwellbeing.co.uk
18.2 Where reasonably possible, Astralway will first seek to resolve the technical issue.
18.3 Depending upon the circumstances, this may include:
(a) restoring access;
(b) regenerating content;
(c) correcting an Account issue;
(d) repairing or replacing digital content where appropriate; or
(e) providing another remedy required by law.
18.4 Astralway will not refuse a legally required remedy merely because a technical problem could potentially be investigated.
19. DUPLICATE PAYMENTS
19.1 If you are accidentally charged twice for the same purchase or subscription period, please contact us.
19.2 Once verified, an erroneous duplicate charge will be refunded.
20. UNAUTHORISED PAYMENTS
20.1 If you believe a payment was made without your authority, please contact us promptly.
20.2 You should also consider contacting your payment provider where appropriate.
20.3 Astralway may investigate the transaction and may take reasonable steps to protect the relevant Account.
21. INCORRECT PURCHASES
21.1 If you believe you purchased the wrong report or product accidentally, contact us as soon as possible.
21.2 If supply has not yet begun, Astralway may be able to cancel or amend the order.
21.3 If digital content has already been supplied following valid consent and acknowledgement to immediate supply, the statutory change-of-mind right may already have been lost.
21.4 This does not affect any other applicable statutory right.
22. INCORRECT INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE USER
22.1 Astralway's personalised outputs depend upon information supplied by or on behalf of the user.
22.2 You are responsible for checking information such as:
(a) date of birth;
(b) time of birth;
(c) place of birth;
(d) selected person or chart; and
(e) other information used to generate the requested content.
22.3 If a report is generated correctly using inaccurate information supplied by you, Astralway is not automatically required to provide a free replacement or refund.
22.4 If you identify an error promptly, please contact support and we will consider whether the content can reasonably be regenerated.
22.5 Nothing in this section affects rights arising from an error caused by Astralway.
23. FAILED OR INCOMPLETE GENERATION
23.1 If payment is taken but a paid report or other digital product fails to generate or is materially incomplete because of a technical failure, please contact us.
23.2 Astralway may, depending upon the circumstances:
(a) regenerate the product;
(b) restore access;
(c) provide a replacement; or
(d) provide an appropriate refund.
23.3 Statutory remedies remain unaffected.
24. SUBSCRIPTION TECHNICAL FAILURE
24.1 Temporary interruption of the service does not automatically entitle a user to a full refund.
24.2 Where a material failure significantly prevents use of a paid service, Astralway will consider the circumstances and any remedy required by applicable consumer law.
24.3 This may include an appropriate service remedy, credit or refund where required or appropriate.
25. PRICE CHANGES
25.1 Astralway may change subscription prices from time to time.
25.2 Any price change affecting an existing subscription will be handled in accordance with the Astralway Terms & Conditions and applicable consumer law.
25.3 Where required, reasonable advance notice will be provided.
25.4 A price change will not be applied retrospectively to a subscription period already paid for.
26. PROMOTIONAL PRICING
26.1 Astralway may occasionally offer:
(a) promotional prices;
(b) introductory prices;
(c) discounts;
(d) vouchers; or
(e) other promotional offers.
26.2 The conditions of a promotion will be displayed with the offer where appropriate.
26.3 Expiry of a promotional price does not normally entitle a user to a refund of purchases made before or after the promotion.
27. PAYMENT PROCESSING
27.1 Payments are processed using third-party payment services, including Stripe where applicable.
27.2 A refund approved by Astralway may take additional time to appear in your payment Account because of payment-provider and banking processing times.
27.3 Astralway does not control the processing times of your bank or card provider.
28. HOW REFUNDS ARE PAID
28.1 Refunds will normally be returned using the original payment method unless another method is required or agreed.
28.2 Astralway will not normally issue a refund to an unrelated third party.
28.3 Where a payment method prevents a refund being returned in the usual way, we may contact you to arrange an appropriate alternative.
29. REFUND REQUESTS
29.1 To request a refund, contact:
support@ljwellbeing.co.uk
29.2 Please provide sufficient information for us to identify the purchase, such as:
(a) your name;
(b) the email address associated with your Astralway Account;
(c) the product or subscription concerned;
(d) the approximate purchase date;
(e) the reason for your request; and
(f) relevant transaction information where available.
29.3 You should not send full payment-card details by email.
30. REFUND ASSESSMENT
30.1 Refund requests will be assessed according to:
(a) the product or service purchased;
(b) whether supply has begun;
(c) whether digital content has been supplied;
(d) any consent and acknowledgement provided at checkout;
(e) the reason for the request;
(f) whether there has been a technical failure;
(g) whether the content or service conforms to the contract;
(h) applicable statutory rights; and
(i) other relevant circumstances.
30.2 Astralway may request reasonable additional information where necessary to investigate a refund request.
31. REFUNDS REQUIRED BY LAW
31.1 Where you are legally entitled to a refund, Astralway will provide the refund in accordance with applicable law.
31.2 Nothing in this Policy allows Astralway to replace a statutory remedy with a lesser contractual remedy where the law does not permit it to do so.
32. DISCRETIONARY REFUNDS
32.1 Astralway may sometimes provide a refund, credit, replacement or other remedy as a gesture of goodwill even where there is no legal obligation to do so.
32.2 A discretionary remedy:
(a) does not constitute an admission of liability;
(b) does not create an entitlement to the same remedy in another case; and
(c) does not alter the Terms & Conditions.
33. CHARGEBACKS
33.1 If you have a genuine problem with a purchase, we encourage you to contact us so that we can try to resolve it.
33.2 This does not prevent you from exercising any lawful rights you have through your bank, card provider or payment provider.
33.3 Astralway may provide relevant transaction and Account records to a payment provider when reasonably necessary to respond to a chargeback or payment dispute.
34. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION
34.1 Cancellation of a subscription by the user is different from suspension or termination of an Account by Astralway.
34.2 Where Astralway suspends or terminates an Account, any refund entitlement will depend upon:
(a) the reason for suspension or termination;
(b) the Terms & Conditions;
(c) services already supplied;
(d) any breach by the user; and
(e) applicable consumer law.
34.3 Astralway will not rely on Account suspension to avoid a refund that is legally required.
35. ACCOUNT DELETION
35.1 Deleting your Astralway Account is different from requesting a refund.
35.2 Account deletion does not automatically create a right to a refund for purchases already supplied.
35.3 If you wish to cancel a subscription, you should ensure that the subscription itself has been cancelled.
35.4 Personal data associated with Account deletion will be handled in accordance with the Astralway Privacy Policy and applicable Data Protection Law.
36. MARKETPLACE SERVICES
36.1 Astralway intends to introduce Marketplace functionality in the future.
36.2 Marketplace services are not currently covered by the detailed cancellation and refund rules in this Policy.
36.3 Before Marketplace launch, this Policy will be updated to explain:
(a) who supplies the relevant practitioner service;
(b) who receives payment;
(c) cancellation rights;
(d) cooling-off rights where applicable;
(e) practitioner cancellation;
(f) customer cancellation;
(g) missed appointments;
(h) rescheduling;
(i) refunds;
(j) complaints; and
(k) Astralway's role in the transaction.
36.4 Marketplace-specific terms must be finalised before Marketplace transactions are made available.
37. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
37.1 Astralway may be available to customers outside the United Kingdom.
37.2 Astralway is based in the United Kingdom and is subject to their laws and regulations
37.3 By purchasing subscriptions and products through Astralway you agree to those laws and regulations.
38. FAIRNESS
38.1 Astralway will not interpret this Policy in a manner intended to remove consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
38.2 Where there is a conflict between this Policy and a mandatory legal right, the mandatory legal right will apply.
39. FUTURE SUBSCRIPTION LAW
39.1 UK subscription-contract law is changing.
39.2 Beauty & Wellbeing Education Ltd will review Astralway's subscription processes and this Policy when the relevant subscription-contract provisions of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 come into force.
39.3 This may require changes to matters including:
(a) pre-contract information;
(b) renewal reminders;
(c) cooling-off rights;
(d) cancellation mechanisms;
(e) end-of-contract notices;
(f) refunds; and
(g) other subscription processes.
39.4 Until those provisions become applicable, Astralway will operate in accordance with the consumer law applying at the relevant time.
40. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
40.1 Astralway may update this Policy where reasonably necessary, including because of:
(a) changes to law;
(b) changes to regulatory guidance;
(c) changes to Astralway products or services;
(d) changes to subscription functionality;
(e) changes to payment systems; or
(f) Marketplace launch.
40.2 The current version will be made available through Astralway.
40.3 Material changes affecting existing contractual rights will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the Astralway Terms & Conditions.

Astralway Shop: delivery, returns and experience vouchers
Astralway is the seller of every item in the Astralway Shop. Objects and gift packages are dispatched directly by the independent makers we work with, and experiences are provided by independent hosts. Your contract is with us, and we handle every question, return and refund.
Delivery
Delivery charges and the countries we deliver to are shown in your bag before you pay. Each product page shows how long its maker usually takes to dispatch. Items from different makers travel separately, and we add tracking to your order page as each parcel is sent. If something hasn't arrived within 30 days of your order, tell us and we will refund or replace it.
Changing your mind about objects and gift packages
You can cancel and return objects and gift packages for any reason within 14 days of the day after they are delivered. Tell us by emailing support@ljwellbeing.co.uk with your order number, then send the items back within a further 14 days. We refund the price of the items and the original standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving them back (or proof that you've sent them). Unless the item is faulty or not as described, the cost of returning it is yours. We may reduce the refund if an item has been handled more than you would need to inspect it in a shop.
This right does not apply to items made to your personal specification, or to sealed items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once unsealed. Product pages say when this applies.
Faulty or damaged items
If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, contact us. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you can reject it for a full refund within 30 days of delivery, and after that you are entitled to a repair or replacement. We cover the cost of returning faulty items.
Experience vouchers
Experiences are sold as vouchers with a code and an expiry date. You can cancel an unused voucher within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Once you have booked a date with the host, or after those 14 days, the host's booking and cancellation terms shown on the product page apply. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are not refundable after they expire, except where the law requires.
Gifts
Refunds always go back to the original payment method, so returns and cancellations for gifts are arranged by the person who bought them. Gift orders are packed without prices.
How refunds are paid
We refund to the card or payment method you used, usually within 5 to 10 working days of approving the refund. Cancelling an order also voids any unused experience vouchers on it.
