What can Astralway calculate without a birth time?
Astralway can still calculate some useful information when your exact birth time is unknown, because many placements depend primarily on your birth date.
However, some important information may be unavailable or less reliable.
Without an accurate birth time, Astralway may not be able to determine confidently:
your Ascendant or Rising Sign
your astrological houses
certain Moon placements if the Moon changed position near the relevant boundary
or
your BaZi Hour Pillar.
The exact limitations depend on the system and your particular date of birth.
Astralway should therefore distinguish between information it can calculate confidently and information requiring a precise birth time, rather than inventing missing chart data.
If you later discover your birth time, you can update your chart for a more complete interpretation.
