FAQ
How accurate does my birth time need to be?
The more accurate your birth time, the more accurately Astralway can calculate time-sensitive parts of your charts.
Your birth time is particularly important for your Ascendant or Rising Sign and the houses of your Western and Vedic charts.
Because the Ascendant changes throughout the day, even a relatively small difference in birth time can sometimes affect house positions or, if you were born near a sign boundary, your Rising Sign itself.
Birth time is also important for constructing the Hour Pillar in BaZi.
If you know the time recorded on your birth certificate or official birth record, use that wherever possible.
If your time is approximate, Astralway should treat highly time-sensitive interpretations with appropriate caution.
